We are proud to present our very first guest of the academic year 2015-2016, one of worlds most famous philosophers nowadays: Thomas Pogge!
During this one hour interview, we will discuss the causes and consequences of rising inequality, the flaws of the current international system and the Millennium Development Goals.
Dr. Pogge received his Ph.D. from Harvard University with a dissertation supervised by the most famous political philosopher from the 20th century, John Rawls. Pogge became well known with his paper ‘Realizing Rawls’ in which he defends, criticizes and extends John Rawls’s A Theory of Justice.
Nowadays Dr. Pogge is professor of Philosophy and International Affairs and director of the Global Justice program at Yale university.
