As the largest world democracy and one of the top economies in the world, what visions of the world does India bring to the table? In this interaction with Mr. Rahul Gandhi, one of India’s leading political leaders, and Mr. Sam Pitroda, key figure behind India’s telecom revolution, we will discuss the various ways in which India is central to the 21st century world order. Mr. Gandhi has been walking across India with the message of love and solidarity with his Bharat Jodo Yatra (Walk to Unify India). What are the stakes involved in engaging with politics from the grassroots? In what ways does technological revolutions shape the emerging world order. How does a modern-day politician engage with challenges arising from technological modes of conducting politics?
