Humanitarian Crises Today and Tomorrow – A Conversation with Marieke van Schaik, Director of Red Cross NL

The Red Cross is the World’s largest humanitarian network organisation working on helping people in need during emergencies, conflicts and disasters. When we watch the news we see crisis after crisis unfold, the Red Cross is often the organisation working at the scene to help those who need help the most. From emergency response to war aftercare and victim support, the Red Cross does it all. In this interview we will look at how the Red Cross NL chooses their cases, how they prepare for emergencies and how they help those who need their help. Join us on Tuesday, February 7th, at 1pm in the E-hall to explore the work of the Netherlands Red Cross and insights to the most recent humanitarian crises in the world with the Director of the Red Cross NL, Marieke van Schaik.
