This interview is in English

We are excited to announce that we shall be interviewing Evan Davis on February 7th. Mr Davis is an English economist, journalist and presenter for the BBC. He was their economics editor for 7 years and is a mainstay of the BBC’s current affairs programmes, both on radio and television. The author of numerous books, Mr Davis has written on a wide array of topics, from arguing for the privatisation of public services to explain why we have reached ‘Peak Bullshit’ in this Post-truth era. He is also well known for presenting Dragon’s Den, the TV show where budding entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to 5 venture capitalists in the hope of making the big time (this is the link to their YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDAzmE9V4Xw5CdLkn3pvO3A – do check it out, it makes for some entertaining viewing!).

The interview will take a look at the recent Britain election result and what we can learn from it, explore the possible outcomes of the ongoing Brexit trade negotiations and try to get an insight into what it’s like to be a political journalist searching for a truth that people just aren’t that interested to hear. We hope you are able to join us!
