After the election in Hungary, and the defeat of far-right leader Viktor Orbáan, Europe is recovering. Or is it? The far- right is still high in popularity and mobilizing grievances that speak to many. The mainstream is struggling to keep up, always defending itself in a narrative which belongs to the far- right. At the same time, turmoil in the world order forces the EU to re-establish its values and priorities.
Join us in a discussion with Catherine De Vries, one of Europe’s leading voices in Political Science. We will discuss the risks and outcomes of political discontent, the far-right surge and the future of European politics.
