1708 Days of Full-Scale Invasion: With Ukrainian Ambassador Andriy Kostin

The world looked hopeful in early 2025 for a potential resolution to the Russian–Ukrainian war. Now, the conflict is escalating once again, and rapidly.

Internationally, Russian attacks have become more intense and frequent, aid to Ukraine is under pressure, and the prospect of peace feels as distant as it did in 2022. Domestically, a series of corruption scandals continue to dominate the news.

This raises many questions. How will Ukraine respond to the ongoing Russian escalation? What role should the Netherlands and Europe play? And beyond the immediate crisis, how will Ukrainians rebuild their country and process the collective trauma of years of war?

Join us in a conversation with Ukrainian Ambassador to the Netherlands Andriy Kostin as we explore the repercussions of Russian terror for Ukrainians and the entirety of Europe.
