On Monday May 29th we will host a very special session in collaboration with Amsterdam Centre for Political Thought. During this two-hour session, Peter Singer will give a lecture titled ‘Ethics for One World’, followed by an interview by Room for Discussion.
 
Peter Singer is an Australian philisopher, specialized in applied ethics. He is professor of Bioethics at Princeton University and a Laureate Professor at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the University of Melbourne.
 
In this session we will talk about a variety of matters, a.o. about his book ‘One World: The Ethics of Globalization’. Moreover, we will talk not only about the influence of his ideas but also its application to the world we know today.
 
 
The event is freely accessibly, no registration needed, but we advice to be on time in order to have access to a chair. There will be plenty of room for questions from the audience, and you will be able to follow the event via our livestream as well.
