Assitant Professor Cyber Security Governance at Leiden University

Els de Busser has worked as a Senior Researcher Cyber Security at the Centre of Expertise Cyber Security before becoming assistant professor at Leiden University. She is secretary of the Scientific Committee of the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP) and expert for the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), and her book “Data Protection in EU and US Criminal Cooperation” has won the 2014 Siracusa Prize for Young Penalists by the Association Internationale de Droit Pénal (AIDP)
